SELF Rocking bassinette

Mama Roo bassinette – will help you rock your fussy baby to sleep. With white noise settings and 5 different rocking motions that you can control from your phone. You’ll be able to rest your achy and weary body.

Robot Vaccuum

Robot vacuum – the only thing you need to do, is tell your robot when to vacuum the floors and of course empty out the dustbin periodically. Your house will be amazingly clean! As your baby grows up and starts licking at the floors, you won’t have to be too worried about dust bunnies and shed hairs. I especially love the ones with the mop function so that a bulk of your chores can be taken care of by your robot. I cannot emphasis how much this is a must have item for your baby registry!

Diaper subscription

Diaper subscription – it’s seriously the gift that keep on giving. It seems a lot of people find gifting diapers quite boring. So a great idea to get diapers anyway may be do set up a subscription that a group of interested people can pitch into. Perhaps just put in a few dollars for that so they can still give the main gift of their choice. The BabyList app and Amazon baby registry help make group gifting a breeze.

Muslin swaddle

Muslin swaddle – a good muslin swaddle can be used for anything! If you want to go minimal with baby items, this is a must! No only can you use it to swaddle an infant, but they can be used a burp cloth, a receiving blanket, a light blanket for a warm day. For breastfeeding moms, they can be placed between you and the baby to keep you from getting soaked during the early days! It can also be used as a breathable cover up if you need one.

Hands free breast pump

Breast pump are must haves whether you are a stay at home mom or working outside the house – if you want to get the expensive hands free ones, why not get it group gifted? This is definitely a must have big ticket baby registry item.

Baby Jewelry

Baby jewelry – people love to give babies sentimental items! Etsy has the cutest finds so your baby can stay stylishly cute with the jewelry picks for your choice.

Silk/satin crib sheets

Silk/satin crib sheets – They say that back is best for you sleeping baby, but what’s with all the cotton sheets? Cotton is known for its moisture wicking properties. That is to say, cotton has drying tendencies. Hair that is dry, will break off. This will create a bald spot on your baby’s head! That dreaded bald spot will be no more with silk or satin sheets. For the sake of little one’s hair I’d say these qualify as a must have baby registry item: big ticket edition. These sheets can vary in greatly in price. We have used cheaper satin sheets that are effective, but they don’t hold up for a very long time.

Baby monitor

Baby monitor – you need this even if you’re in the same room with your baby. For at least the first few weeks, you might be too achy or too tired and want to get up and check the baby. This is not about being lazy. I promise. Just take a moment and rest your tired self. You will need to check on the baby for months and years to come, so add it to your baby registry!
